Back when the Maze was a functioning Collegium, the staff were supported by
a small army of ‘porters’. These constructs, unique to the Collegium, served asdoor guards, messages carriers, manual labourers, and low-level security. Althougheach porter was a unique construction, most resembled fancy types of furniturewith short legs and long arms. Desks, bureaus, wardrobes, and apothecary cabinetswere the most common forms. Many porters have survived to the present day, although with no staff to give orders, they’ve gone a bit feral.
